Tachi (Ignacio Lloret, Lledo) is a Spanish Artist, born 1973 in the town of Altea, in the Province of Alicante, Spain.
He graduated from the Universidad de Bellas Artes de San Carlos, Valencia in 2000. In 2003 he was further awarded the degree of Doctora de BBAA from the University of Altea.
He currently alternates his teaching activities with participation in international fairs and local events.
He specializes in portraits of famous, historical and ethnic people. All his works are created with that particular flambouyant style he has developed and which has come to characterise his work.
His passion is portraiture and trying to expose the true character of the subject he is painting. At the same time he dares to stretch the boundaries of convention through the extravagant use of colour and brushstroke.
